Abstract

They did an entire project and got data from all staff on what they saw a key points of operation in the company for staff. They worked on this and then Updated Core Values:

We are proud to reveal our refreshed core values, illustrating the key points that we feel encapsulate our organisation best.

They are Integrity, Client Commitment, Quality, Brilliance, and Sustainability. While to some they may appear as buzzwords, to us, they are the very fibre of our operations and how we communicate ourselves to the world. Case studies of employee diversity from different backgrounds. Employee getting an opportunity for educational and professional development. Employee with a long employment record and pointing to above average pay and getting and increasing their professional skills.


Relevance

As a building company they rely on the skills of their trades people and they are key to the success of the company. This Human Resources project has kept the people at the heart of the company and given them strong Core Values so they can grow and Innovate.

They have a newsletter that celebrates the company achievements and spotlights staff and their contributions. Their Heros programmes keeps their staff rooted in the community and gives them a sense of well beings in the community.

The programme involved talking to staff and getting their feedback. This demanded top down endorsement of the programme and time given to the programme.
