Abstract

Ternua has different sustainable sports equipment for men, women and children, as well as accessories for the mountain, such as: Vests, pants, jackets... underwear... backpacks, bottles, gloves, sleeping bags, etc. Thanks to research, development and innovation, they manage to manufacture products through sustainable treatments and with recycled products to reduce the negative impacts on the environment.

Relevance

For its production, Ternua has different projects aligned with sustainability. They use Low concentrations of salt from recycled silver, recycled reels, or coffee grounds, for the anti-odor treatment of the fabric. They use organic cotton as raw material, but also recycled feathers, plastic bottles, coffee grounds, fishing nets to develop fabrics that are repellent to water and 100% free of PFC.

Ternua is also relevant for the alliances that it creates for each project. It is member of the European Outdoor Conservation Association, the Whale and Dolphin Conservation (they have adopted 4 whales so far), and also the bluesign certification system.
