Sustainable innovation refers to developing and implementing new products, services, or processes that are environmentally and socially responsible, economically viable, and contribute to sustainable development. Sustainable innovation looks at what is already new on the market to help SMEs become more environmentally sustainable. It looks at digital solutions exploring how we can think in more innovative ways to implement sustainable strategies into practice.
During this module learners will about new technologies such as renewable energy sources, they will learn about emerging digital technologies they can implement. They will learn about the value principle and how to implement a design thinking methodology to become more sustainable.
